Little Sharewater

Building a haven for sharing, reflection and connected living

Little Sharewater

Little Sharewater is the final component in the vision for Auranga. It’s the place of its origin, serving as the foundational DNA from which Sharewater is inspired. As the village centre, it is where the community's heart beats the strongest. A space that over the past decade has grown into a cherished community hub and a destination for the region.

Unlike other developments that might overshadow their origins, Little Sharewater’s spirit will be enhanced, creating a vibrant hub of waters-edge living. A family-friendly space where people young and old can come together with the warmth of community spirit that only a village can create.

In a lush setting of leafy lanes, backed by a chorus of birdsong. Where entertainment happens spontaneously across the network of galleries, markets and music spaces. And interactions with neighbours and friends flow warmly and easily at cafés or piazza-style tables.

Little Sharewater will grow, but never lose its unique balance of creativity and proximity to nature. In a world increasingly focused on virtual, here we are building something complex, real and lasting. A living place to shelter, nurture and invigorate the human spirit.

A place of quiet charm, creativity and curiosity by the water

The vision

Located on the corner of main street Bremner Road and Better way in Auranga, Drury, Little Sharewater will be a spirited community of twenty seven 3-storey townhouse residences set in a café, office and outdoor promenade environs. The area’s ambience will be one of creativity and the arts.

Surrounding the Little Sharewater village piazza are walkways, playgrounds and green fields for leisurely weekend strolls or just hanging out in the village. This will be a green space made for people to meet and get to know each other. A tribute to the founding spirit of Auranga showcasing how we can build better communities for the future.

Having witnessed the building industry’s struggle where most want to build quality houses in good faith but are being impeded by tough market conditions, developer MADE have committed to bringing the vision for Auranga to life. This community of high quality, versatile and variable living spaces in the heart of the village is part of that vision, along with the sprinkling of semi-commercial common spaces, cafés, a town centre and the like.

MADE is passionate about finding new ways to craft communities. This is the continuation of that journey and by echoing the soul of Auranga through this emerging development, they are helping deliver the next natural stage of growth - a small centre for provisions and gatherings.

The design

Designed by award winning architects Designgroup Stapleton Elliott, the Little Sharewater townhouses take inspiration from timeless architecture. Envisioned as multi-generational building, these residences have been specified with quality material finishes that will wear beautifully over time.

The townhouses face inwards, creating a long, gentle promenade. A shared co-living space where residents can flow outside to mix with each other and the wider Auranga community. The three storied dwellings allow for both a connection to the street and a common space to be shared and enjoyed with neighbours.
