The name Sharewater is inspired by the waters of the Ngākōroa as a shared meeting place for all people, reflecting its history and the founding spirit of Auranga.
The development will unfold in two phases, beginning with Little Sharewater – the foundational hub and spirit of the community – and expanding into Sharewater, the ultimate expression of the vision for Drury. A development carefully planned and executed with generational inheritance in mind.

The Sharewater development comes in two distinctive parts, Sharewater and Little Sharewater – two centres that share a common spirit.

The 2 hectare lake environment will be enhanced by charming architecture and community artworks. By the water will be resting spots, walkways, cafés and bars. Little Sharewater
A 15 minute walk from the Sharewater development in the bustling Auranga town centre lies Little Sharewater.
Here we are creating a community of like-hearted people who want to adventure, grow, and establish their craft along with the founding character of Auranga. A spirited, close-knit community of 3-storey townhouse dwellings gathered around freedom to create and serve.
Just 36 kilometres from the centre of Auckland and 25 kilometres from the Auckland international airport, in Auranga’s lush landscape of paddocks and pristine waterways, something new is taking shape.
